Amsterdam, Netherlands - May 2016
I've always been super keen to go to Amsterdam, it's so easy to
get to and so cheap once you're there, I'm surprised it took be this long to
go. We stayed just out of town in the amazing Student Hotel which was a
beautiful design hotel/student accommodation, I would totally recommend it.
We walked all over, the whole place is just stunning to look at, the buildings are so unusual and the canals break everything up really well so it's easy to find your way around. We went to De Hallen for food which is a massive food hall made up of lots of different companies all specialising in different food. My favourite place we ate over there though was this amazing salad restaurant in De Pijp called Sla.

We also venture up to the Nord area in the
north of Amsterdam. You have to get a ferry over there but it's totally worth
it, we had lunch in a an awesome vegan restaurant called Café de Ceuvel
and then walked to Noorderlicht Cafe for a couple of beers and then over to the
awesome Pllek.
